Occupational Health & Safety Policy

Quadracon Building provides Project Management, Construction and Building refurbishment services throughout Australia. Our core deliverables are provided by subcontracting construction organisations, and as such our OHS objectives are in context with the procurement element of our organisation.

The Health and Safety of those who work either directly or indirectly for Quadracon is of the utmost importance to Senior Management, and we are committed to the continual improvement of health and safety performance within the business.

We will set, monitor and measure for effectiveness our goals & objectives to meet key targets to minimise the risk of injuries or illness in the workplace and promote safe building practices.

In order to achieve our OHS objectives, the following commitments have been made by Quadracon including National and State based:

Provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill-health by ensuring that safe work practices are met via monitoring activities, provision of PPE, identification and removal of hazards and risks via Project Risk Assessments, provision of First Aid and Emergency Management equipment and competent personnel on site.

Identify and fulfil legal and other requirements applicable to Quadracon including National and State based WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice, understanding of subcontracting Organisation's Codes of Practice including but not limited to Excavation, Electrical, Gas and Plumbing, Concreting etc.

Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks, so far as reasonably practicable via risk management including Daily Site Register and Weekly Site Inspections.

Consulting and organising for the participation of workers, and, where they exist, workers’ representatives via the establishment and ongoing communication schedule of the HSEQ Committee which consists of managerial and non-managerial workers.

Continually review and improve the OHS elements of the Business Management System in consultation with our HSEQ Committee.

Ensuring this policy is implemented within the Organisation and made available to interested parties.

We maintain and continuously improve a Business Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.

Quadracon OHS Policy is applicable to our Directors, employees, contractors and to any person or organisation that represents us as well as suppliers in the conduct of their activities for an on our behalf.
